Despite significant progress in women’s, children’s, and adolescents’ health, many advancements have stalled. The article emphasizes the need for a transformative primary health care approach to address this issue. This approach involves integrated health services, community engagement, and multisectoral action to address the broader determinants of health. Key components include a life-course approach with intervention packages for all stages of life, increased investment in nurturing care, and a focus on essential public health functions. By prioritizing prevention, promotion, and protection, and by empowering individuals and communities, this approach aims to improve health outcomes and reduce inequities. The article calls for a commitment to universal health coverage and urges political leaders and health partners to prioritize primary health care transformation for women, children, and adolescents’ health.
