Abstracts that were presented at the International Maternal Newborn Health Conference (IMNHC) 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa, have been published in BMC Proceedings. Nearly 1,800 delegates from over 95 countries—including 28 official country delegations—participated in approximately 200 sessions focused on accelerating progress and fostering solutions for maternal and newborn health.
As we continue to work collectively toward our 2030 goals to improve coverage, quality, and equity of maternal and newborn care and prevention of stillbirths, let us look back on IMNHC as a key moment that generated momentum and action.
