HMS training packages are designed for use onsite by teams of health care workers to promote simulation-based learning to improve quality of care at birth. Together with HMS Essential Care for Labor & Birth, these new capacity-building materials will support health care workers worldwide to ensure happy and healthy outcomes for women and their newborns.

We’ll recap the 10+ year HMS journey and describe the pilot of the new modules in Tanzania. You’ll also hear from expert HMS trainers working in Tanzania and South Sudan about how these modules will build capacity to improve care on the day of birth.
