Join the Child Health Task Force’s Quality of Care and Private Sector Engagement subgroup for a webinar to learn from Manyata about their experience with quality improvement in private facilities in India. The private sector provides an increasingly large proportion of childbirth services both in India and globally. In this webinar, presenters will share learnings from Manyata, a quality improvement and quality assurance program for private sector childbirth facilities led by the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies in India (FOGSI). The findings focus on why private facilities chose to participate in Manyata, strategies to increase adherence to evidence-based practices related to both maternal and neonatal care, and recommendations for sustaining quality in the private sector. Participants will discuss how they could incorporate these approaches into their own programs and contexts.
